About Us

The project came about as a result of my work on the www.stlawrencepiks.com site. Since moving to Morrisburg in 2008, I have been fascinated by the history of the old village prior to the St Lawrence Seaway construction and related flooding in the 1950s. From talking to both residents and visitors on the topic, it is clear that many people share this interest. I have spent a lot of time researching information and pictures about the history and have included a special section on my website (see www.stlawrencepiks.com/history/ ).
